# Web testing

Monarch supports Caido and Burp Suite for web application testing. Wordlists are available separately when you need them.

## Caido

The full Monarch software bundle includes `caido-desktop`. Open **Caido** from the application launcher. On a minimal installation, use **Monarch Menu → Software → Package** to install `caido-desktop`.

To connect an MCP-compatible assistant to Caido, follow the [Caido MCP server guide](/basics/pentest-tools/caido-mcp-server.md).

## Burp Suite

Open **Monarch Menu → Software → Cyber → Burpsuite**. Choose **Community** or **Pro**; Monarch downloads and runs the corresponding Linux installer. Use your own Burp Suite licence for Pro.

## Wordlists

Open **Monarch Menu → Software → Cyber → Wordlists** to install the `seclists` AUR package. After installation, the lists are available under `/usr/share/seclists`. The package is optional so it does not add its large data set to every installation.
